LELAND -- Sarah Ruszel had 11 kills, 12 digs, two aces and one assist Tuesday as Leland swept Traverse City Christian 25-13, 25-16, 25-14 in non-conference volleyball.
Also contributing for the Comets (19-24-1) were Sammy Nowak (10 kills, two blocks), Tantzi Snyder (10 kills, three aces), Hanna Schaub (31 assists, five aces and four digs) and Melissa Loredo (seven digs).

Traverse City St. Francis finished a 13-1 Lake Michigan Conference season with a 25-19, 25-18, 25-21 win over Elk Rapids.
The Gladiators (27-7) previously wrapped up the league title on Monday.
Abby Clear had eight kills and six digs for St. Francis, Bailey Ray had seven kills, two blocks and 14 digs, Emily Buckel had 27 assists and Jamie Bott added seven kills and four digs.
In the JV game, the Glads moved to 13-1 in the LMC with a 17-25, 25-20, 25-19 win.
Charlevoix wins LMC tri match
Charlevoix picked up Lake Michigan Conference wins over Harbor Spring and Boyne City.
The Rayders (39-18-2, 11-3 LMC) beat the Rams 25-13, 25-17, 25-15 and the Ramblers 25-11, 25-22, 25-12.
Jenna Way had 61 assists, nine kills and 24 digs for Charlevoix, Allison Hankins had 27 kills, Katie Mays added 21 kills, Sarah Potter had 14 kills and Taylor Storm had 48 digs.
