Michaela Carnegie took the 800 (2:24.42) and was on two winning relays Thursday as the Benzie Central girls claimed the Garland Invitational.
The Huskies finished with 90 points in the nine-team event. Kingsley was second with 67 and St. Francis third with 46.
Carnegie teamed with Marika Grabowski, Taylor Nye and Devyn Ramsay to win the 3200 relay (10:16.70). Lisa Ahrens, Mikayla Lonn, Taylor Witchner and Carnegie captured the 800 relay (1:51.69). Ramsay won the 1600 (5:33.16).

Zaleski, Sedlacek set the pace for Kingsley's win
Dave Zaleski and Tom Sedlacek each had a hand in three wins to lead Kingsley to a first-place finish at the Garland Invitational in Suttons Bay.
Kingsley won the meet with 102 points. TC St. Francis was third with 87 points followed by Benzie Central (54) and Suttons Bay (45).
Zaleski won the 100 (11.34) and 200 (22.86) while Sedlacek captured the 400 (52.67) and 800 (2:02.2). The two teamed with J.J. Sanchez and Nolan Stiner to win the 1600 relay (3:35.45).
