---- — You made it. And now it's your turn.
You survived the robo-calls, the mailers, the never-ending TV ads, the door knockers, the TV ads, the radio ads, the mailers, the TV ads, the robo-calls and the telephone surveys.
You watched the debates (even some of the 2,000 or so Republican presidential primary debates), you read the news stories, the letters to the editor, the op-eds and the fact-checking web sites.
So now it's your chance to make them listen to you. When all is said and done, after all, only your voice and the voices of all your fellow voters matter. The rest of it is so much noise.
So do yourself a favor and get to the polls today and vote. This is what the past four years of electioneering and stump speeches has been all about — you making up your mind about the candidates and the ballot issues and casting a ballot.
If you don't know where to do that, go to michigan.gov/vote, plug in your information, and find out; you can also call your county clerk's office.
Polls are open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.
