Jennifer Bridgewater, of Grand Haven and Traverse City, has returned from completing basic training at Fort Jackson, S.C. Bridgewater is a member of Detachment 1-1461st Transportation Company, Michigan Army National Guard and serves as an Officer Candidate.

Bridgewater is a 2004 graduate of Grand Haven High School and earned a bachelor of science degree from Lake Superior State University in 2008. She is the daughter of Mark and Karen Bridgewater, of Grand Haven.
