Pedestrian safety flags installed

Pedestrian safety flags were recently installed at the corner of Division and Grandview Parkway as part of a joint project between Traverse Area Recreation and Transportation Trails and the Michigan Department of Transportation.

The 26-mile TART-Leelanau Trail crosses two legs of the busy divided-highway intersection in Traverse City.

The project was funded by donations to TART.
