Oscar Contest

The nominations are in so let the guessing begin. The Record-Eagle’s annual Oscar contest has great movie-related prizes; all you have to do is pick the winners. Have fun and good luck.

The Oscars will air live Sunday, March 2. Winners will be announced in the Friday, March 14, edition of the Record-Eagle.


Grand prize: All-access pass for two to the State Theatre and Bijou by the Bay, downtown Traverse City, good for one year

Second place: Twelve passes, popcorn and pop at the Bay Theatre in Suttons Bay

Third place: Two passes good from March 7, 2014, to Dec. 31, 2014, at Frankfort's Garden Theater (Film Festival excluded)

Fourth place: 26-week, seven-day subscription to the Traverse City Record-Eagle

  • Only one entry per person, and one entry per household.
  • Contest is open to residents of Grand Traverse, Leelanau, Benzie, Antrim and Kalkaska counties only.
  • Submissions from this form will not be accepted after 11:59 p.m. on Feb. 28, 2014.
  • Traverse City Film Festival and State Theatre/Bijou by the Bay employees and volunteer managers (both past and present) and Record-Eagle employees and their families are not eligible to win.
