From bad to worse
Sorry to say it is Obama, who we elected, though I did not vote for him, but in my heart I hoped a racially mixed half black man and half white man who promised change, and to be a transparent president, was what we needed, and we as Americans deserved.
What we got was a great divider, who played every card from race, not my fault, always blame someone else, and never admit wrong.
What we needed was a leader who should have from day one owned our country and its problems. Yes, we need to fix our health care system but not behind closed doors, and not to read it till later. No.
I really don’t want to just bash Obama but the Republicans will take the Senate back, and this president who blew the chance of a lifetime for all, especially for Democrats, now and in the future, will have no one to blame this time but himself.
I am sad for all Americans. We deserved a president to lead and do what he promised, not take us from bad to worse.
I recently read the opinion article “Waiting for Apology.”
You’ve got to be kidding me, right? Obama is a compulsive liar in my book. He never did actually apologize to America regarding his infamous three-year rhetoric, “If you like your healthcare you can keep it” lie.
All he said was, “The statement was inaccurate.” That’s not an apology. Some of his more familiar lies are: “If you like your doctor, you can keep him, period,” lie; “The NSA is not using its power” to spy on citizens, lie; “Benghazi violence was caused by an internet video,” lie; “Fast and Furious program was a field-initiated program,” lie; the “You didn’t build that” lie; “Under our plan, no federal dollars will be used to fund abortions, and federal conscience laws will remain in place,” lie; then there’s the “I will cut the deficit in half by end of my first term,” lie.
There are dozens more documented examples.
Giving the “800K” federal employees a paid furlough is hardly something that requires an apology for.
