Start of a solution

We support the work of Citizens Climate Lobby and the op-ed piece by Elizabeth Dell on Oct. 10. She highlighted the fact that scientists are 95 percent certain climate change is real and human caused. The revenue-neutral carbon tax Elizabeth noted is the start of real solution. The reason is simple. It makes all of us a part of the solution.

Just hire Al Gore

A solution to the ACA website: hire Al Gore and his people to repair it. He invented the internet; surely he can fix the ACA website so all of us can gain insurance.

Truth on a noose

I’m having trouble recalling a more clear picture.

Truth, with a noose around its neck is hanging from the tree of Obama Care. Truth is dangling in the air and hoisted there by the excuses supporting President Obama’s flat-out assurances of “keeping your health care insurance if that is what you want.”

This ugly display of kicking “truth” down the road is emblazoned with the President’s, “If you like your doctor, you keep your doctor. If you like your current insurance, you keep that insurance. Period. End of story.” “If you like your insurance plan, you will keep it. No one will be able to take that away from you.”

This rope of proclamations was repeated multiple times and with carrots of, “You’re going to have a plan that lowers premiums by $2,500.”

Having put the noose around the neck of “Truth” the President’s legacy will forever be tainted.
