If you agree in changing the Michigan Constitution for your favorite proposal, then you are advocating to all those who have a self-serving motive that with a bit of money and a twist of the truth, they can manipulate the general public into writing their self-serving interest into our Constitution.
Please help in sending a message to those with their self-serving interest, that Michigan's constitution is not for sale, not now, nor any time in the future. Vote "no" on proposals 2-6.
As Michiganders, we couldn't have more at stake.
While many in this area tend to automatically vote Republican, voters should be aware of County Commissioner Ross Richardson's excellent record of public service. I first met Ross when he was a key leader on the City's COFAC committee. Since then he has served two terms as County Commissioner, distinguishing himself as a thoughtful, hard-working manager of public resources. Instead of engaging in ideological combat, Commissioner Richardson strives to identify services important to the citizens and see that those services are delivered with quality in the most cost-effective way.
Vote for Ross Richardson for District 1 County Commissioner.

Excellent skill sets
For almost 50 years, attorney Pat Wilson has practiced law in Grand Traverse County.
Here's his endorsement of Kirsten L. Keilitz for Grand Traverse County Probate Judge:
"Kirsten is on the front lines and understands how the court works and the system.
Over her 15 years of family law experience, she has developed excellent skill sets.
Kirsten upholds and enforces the law in an understanding and compassionate manner."
Vote Kirsten L. Keilitz in the Nov. 6 general election.
There is no other choice.
Sheriff Bensley has been my friend for over 30 years.
I have known Tom as a neighbor and as a sheriff who was always available and willing to work with Safe Harbor and those trying to address the situation of the homeless in our area.
Sheriff Bensley is a person of integrity. He is honest, hard-working and caring.
We would be fortunate to have him continue to serve as our sheriff.
