A clear choice

I am writing in response to the Oct. 2 letter headlined "Stand with Obama."

Let's review. Interest on savings and CDs is less than 1 percent. Groceries and gasoline prices have doubled. Our foreign policy is in the tank. Real estate and home values have dropped. Our national debt has about doubled. Unemployment is over 8 percent. Our energy policy is a joke. New regulations are destroying small businesses. There's chaos throughout our health care system. And finally, our immigration policy is non-existent.

The writer and I do agree on one thing. We have a clear choice Nov. 6, Romney/Ryan.

Prepared, informed

Local elections are important. This November we have an opportunity to shape Family Court decisions through the election of a new probate judge, and Kirsten Keilitz is well qualified to supervise our Probate Court.

I have witnessed Kirsten practice law. She is always prepared, objective, and well informed.

The community has benefited from her experience as a family court referee for the past three years.

Kirsten grew up in Grand Traverse County and is familiar with the issues affecting local residents.

Please join me in supporting Kirsten Keilitz for Grand Traverse County probate judge.
