Gains nothing

Well, Pastor Walls sues his former church. I was all for him leaving and standing for what he did, but now he goes down the other side of the mountain. God says, “Vengeance is mine.”

I guess Pastor Walls feels he can do better handling it himself. Does he forget what it says in 1 Corinthians 6:6-8?

“6. But brother goeth to law with brother, and that before the unbelievers.

7. Now therefore there is utterly a fault among you, because ye go to law one with another. Why do ye not rather take wrong? Why do ye not rather suffer yourselves to be defrauded?

8. Nay, ye do wrong, and defraud, and that your brethren. “

Pastor Walls should drop this and carry on his life with God, and let Him handle it. Going out of God’s will gains nothing but heartache.

Traverse City

Negate Citizens United

Sponsor Senate Resolution 18 and House Resolution 21 to negate the Citizens United ruling:

Our founders may have made many mistakes or been unrepresentative of the people resident, but they never trusted people to be responsible in a for-profit corporation, It was too powerful.

I don’t see a lot has changed. I think they have been comprehensively proven correct for over 200 years. It is bad enough that we need government; it is also bad enough that we “need” for-profit corporations. But to have the former run by the latter is unbearable.

I really won’t be voting for any Congress critter who doesn’t support this bill to negate Citizens United. Seriously, folks, if you can’t even be elected right, how are you going to improve anything else?

Install sidewalks

Traverse City can’t find a way to spend road money. What? Hmm …

As a frequent visitor to the Traverse City area I find one major fault that the city could fix with that money. That is placing sidewalks from NMC to M-72 for the tourists and residents so they cannot get killed on the busy U.S. 31/M-72/Munson Avenue, AKA, Hotel Row.
