Problem solved

In regard to Deborah Beason's Oct. 19 letter regarding the homeless problem in Traverse City, when I was growing up the bums had enough manners to stay under the Boardman trestle and along the lake.

Everyone is where they are at by the choices they make from the time they're in high school through adulthood. But the city commission has solved the problem. Traverse City will have public restrooms and a building where the drunks and drug users can go out of sight.

I wonder if Ms. Beason would feel the same if one of the misunderstood disadvantaged folks were urinating in her bushes in front of her grandchildren.
