No clue about liberties
Sen. Carl Levin recently gave an interview to the Traverse City Record-Eagle which was reported by the newspaper in part as follows:
“If J. Edgar Hoover still headed the FBI, U.S. Sen. Carl Levin would have a problem with the government’s collection of phone records. But now, Levin said, he understands why keeping records of phone calls could be helpful ...”
Anyone who would even think of making a statement like this has no clue what civil liberties are all about.
My wife and I cannot say enough good things about the personnel, the technology, the services, the facilities and anything and everything associated with our recent Munson experience, beginning with the ER and including the volunteer staff.
From the minute we drove up the ER doctor, nurses and aides were outstanding in the attention and care they provided.
On the fourth floor of the heart center the facilities, the professionalism, the technology, the care and attention were beyond amazing. Everyone from the cardiologist, the nurse practitioners the RNs, the nurse assistants, the medical technicians, the room service personnel, the cleaning folks, actually enjoyed what they were doing and it showed in their attitude and the care and attention they provided.
Also, a bed was made up for me in my wife’s room and I was able to stay with her through the night.
All in all, our Munson experience was exceptional to the extreme. We had read of the high rating Munson has been given over the years, but having experienced them first hand we can’t be thankful enough for the presence of such a wonderful institution right here in Traverse City.
