Age-old debate solution

We live in an age where those in power trot out deductive reasoning as bastions of extremes, such as conservative and liberal, further confusing and enslaving the masses. The battle between creationism and evolution has always been troubling to me, perhaps because of the absolute implications of both philosophies. May I propose a more politically correct term for the two warring factions with a new term, Inductive Selection?

I use the word "inductive" in the sense of something that is initiated, rather then something that usually happens by accident, which would be the case when using deductive reasoning to explain either creationism or evolution.

In the same sense, my use of the word "selection" deludes the randomization factor, adding an element of possible intelligence that is lacking in evolution. Perhaps this new term will salve the intellects of both sides and allow moderation to prevail in this age-old debate.

For what reason have I written this letter? Perhaps to sublimate my anger at other politically correct terms such as "superdelegates," which are just another way of saying that our votes are impotent. At least the phrase Inductive Selection doesn't harm anybody.

CMS plan is sickening

To allow CMS Energy (aka Consumers Power) full control of Bay Harbor leachate disposal would be akin to hiring an albino fox called "Harmless" to guard our hen house for free.

Similarly, just a few years ago, CMS was called Consumers Power. Why did they prefer to now be called CMS? It could be to cover up an association from their nasty past. Like Datsun is now Nissan (because a lot of early Datsuns were crappy). They seem to be hiding something unhealthy in their new acronym. Consumers Power tried to stick us with the building of the Midland nuke.

Are we making the connections here? These villains actually want to do us great bodily harm! Or are we willing to build more special education classrooms, more prisons, more mental health facilities! Because mercury poisoning really messes with the mind.

If we admit defeat, roll over and show our underbelly, if we let CMS make their own toxic waste dump in Alba (which would give them complete, unchallenged control over disposal of the caustic poisons) then say goodbye to fish, birds, wild and intelligent life as we know it.
