TRAVERSE CITY — Isabel E. Hall, 77, a lifelong Traverse City resident, died Friday, Feb. 1, 2013, at Grand Traverse Pavilions in Traverse City.
Born on Wednesday, Jan. 8, 1936, to the late Charles and Ruth (Case) Harris in Traverse City, Isabel attended Traverse City schools and graduated from TC High School. She married Harry Hall who preceded her in death.
Isabel loved gardening and for many years operated Hall's Greenhouse with her husband Harry and later owned and operated Isabel's Geranium Farm on Harris Road. She thoroughly enjoyed fishing and hunting and being in the out-of-doors as much as she could. Isabel loved watching and feeding the birds in her yard.
She is survived by her children, Isabel "Susie" (Jeff) Noyes of Traverse City, Julie Wolfgram of North Carolina, Ruthie Wolfgram of Traverse City, LaVern (Laura) Wolfgram of Elk Rapids, and the Hall children, Carol, Jon, Madelon, John, Tom, Chuck, Joe, Mark, Bruce and Alaina and their spouses; and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. Isabel is also survived by her brother Casey (Betty) Harris of Kingsford, and nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry; her son, Charles Wolgram; and her parents.

The memorial service for Isabel will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 6, at Long Lake Friends Church, with Pastor Thomas Craig White officiating. Burial will be in Linwood Cemetery in the spring.
The family suggests that Isabel be remembered through memorial contributions to the American Cancer Society or to the Cherryland Humane Society.
