Traverse City Record-Eagle
---- — TRAVERSE CITY — On Thursday, May 23, 2013, at 2 p.m., the immediate family of Edward and Thelma Seabrook wish you to know there will be a graveside service at Oakwood Cemetery (follow yellow cones), with Rev. Gary Hogue of First Congregational Church officiating. The Cherryland VFW Post 2780 Honor Guard will provide military honors for Mr. Seabrook who proudly served our country as a Seabee in the U. S. Navy during World War II.
Thelma E. Seabrook, 95, passed away Nov. 29, 2011, and Edward M. Seabrook, 96, on March 4, 2013. Both were born in Traverse City. They were married in March of 1946 in New York, and then returned to Traverse City, where they lived and remained devoted to one another in life for 65 years. They are reunited at last and together now for eternity.
The family would like to thank the staff at Boardman Lake Glens-Brigadoon for their compassion and loving care. To all of the doctors, nurses, therapists, and hospice care givers — you are invaluable. A heartfelt thank you also to Reynolds-Jonkhoff Funeral Home for helping us through our time of sorrow.
