KALKASKA — Jack Lee Teesdale, 74, passed away quietly at his home in Kalkaska on Jan. 21, 2014. Jack was born the son of Cecil and Pearl (Spicer) Teesdale, in Sparta, on May 24, 1939.
Jack was preceded in death by his loving wife, Shirley; his parents; and two sisters.
He is survived by his children, Deborah (Rusty) Hahnenberg-Stephenson, Susan (Andrew) Sacheck and Ronald Pickard; his 14 grandchildren; multiple great-grandchildren; his sister, Norma Porter; a very special sister-in-law, Rena Hall; and dozens of nieces and nephews.
Jack was an active, well-loved member of Many Rivers Church and will be sorely missed by his church family.
He was a regular at the local restaurants and enjoyed spending time with his friends at Golden Auto. Jack played father, grandfather and mentor to many people over the years and will be missed by all.
Visitation will be held on Monday, Jan. 27, from 2 to 8 p.m., at Wolfe-O’Neill Funeral Home. Funeral services will be on Tuesday at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Scott Rhoades of Many Rivers Church officiating. There will be visitation one hour prior to the service on Tuesday. Burial will be in Clearwater Township in the spring.
