RAPID CITY — Cameron Jeanne Lee, 70, of Rapid City, succumbed to Alzheimer’s disease at her home Jan. 13, 2014.
Cam was born on Sept 1, 1943, in Harvey, Ill., and spent her summers at her grandparents’ cabins on Torch Lake. After college Cam moved up north and taught school in Boyne Falls and Kalkaska. Cam owned and operated the Antrim Store ceramic shop in Mancelona for many years and then in retirement donated the shop to the Historical Society. Cam married the love of her life Hobart Harold Lee and he cared for her for the many years of her illness. Recently Linda Yates assisted him and they took excellent and loving care of her. Cam always loved her flowers and produced many beautiful gardens.
Cam was always proud of her son Michael (Jenny) Lee of Alden, Mich., and her two handsome grandsons, Andrew and Jacob Lee. Cam is also survived by a sister, Heather Knust of Rapid City.
She was predeceased by her parents, Jeanne and Webb Templin; and brother, Scott Templin.
Cam left her mark on many and was loved by many.
Visitation will be held at Covell Funeral Home in Elk Rapids on Saturday, Jan. 18, from 10 a.m. to noon. Burial will take place at South Milton Township Cemetery in the spring.
