TRAVERSE CITY — Elizabeth Trall Johnson was born Feb. 7, 1915, in Mancelona, to Herbert and Grace (Robertson) Trall. She died April 18, 2013.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Elmer Johnson, who died June 1, 1968; her parents, who both died at 80 years of age; her brother, Gayle Elbert Trall and his wife, Olive Wheeler Trall, who were both in their 90s; and one grandson, Adam Michael Johnson.
Elizabeth is survived by three children, Janet (Bill) Severance, of Kalkaska, Terry and Mark (Ursula), of Traverse City; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
She enjoyed 31 years of winters in Florida and 31 years of summers at her cottage on Big Twin Lake in Kalkaska County. She spent five winters in Florida after moving to Bay Ridge. She enjoyed so much her years at Bay Ridge and made many new friends.
Elizabeth was a lifetime member of the Mancelona United Methodist Church and had been a member of Central United Methodist Church in Traverse City since Sept. 30, 2001.
Cremation, at her request, has taken place. No funeral service will take place but a graveside prayer service will be held by her grandson, Tim Severance, in Mancelona.
