TRAVERSE CITY — Robert Lou King Sr., 84, of Traverse City, passed away on Wednesday, April 10, 2013, at his home. He was born on Feb. 3, 1929.
Bob was married to Beverly Baker on May 2, 1953.
He retired from the U.S. Postal Service and was a Korean War Veteran.
Surviving are his loving wife, Beverly; two sons and a daughter, Robert (Beth) King Jr., Frank (Carolyn) King and Marybeth Jenks; three grandchildren, Waylon Jenks, Franchesca Jenks and Katherine Kings; also a great-grandson, Gryphon Bell.
Bob was preceded in death by his parents, Peter and Verna King; a brother, Richard Fountaine and his, twin brother, William King.
In accordance with Bob’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial service is planned for a later date.
