KEWADIN — Charles Lyman Pardee, 77, of Kewadin, died Aug. 27, 2013. He was born on Nov. 18, 1935, in Boyne City, the son of John Gordon Clark and Dorothy Mae (Meads) Pardee.
Charles was a machinist for Super Tool in Elk Rapids, retiring after 37 years.
He was a practical joker, avid hunter, fisherman and outdoorsman. He also enjoyed softball, bowling and his family.
Charles is survived by his wife, Shirley Louise (Coyne) Pardee; they were married on April 12, 1954, in East Jordan; children, Charles (Janet) Pardee, of Cedar, Randy Pardee, Gregory (Feenie) Pardee and Ricky Pardee, all of Kewadin, and Rhonda (Bill) Morrison, of Williamsburg; 12 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and nine brothers and sisters.
He was preceded in death by his parents, stepfather, an infant sister, brother and two grandchildren.
Cremation will take place. Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 4, 2013, at the Yuba Cemetery, Acme Township.
