SAN DIEGO, Calif. — Jane Jessica (Ennis) Ball, age 53 of San Diego, Calif., a true angel, received her wings and went to be with the Lord on April 8, 2014. She was born Nov. 26, 1960 in Royal Oak, Mich.
Jane was retired from a very successful career as a hair stylist. She enjoyed going to the beach, traveling (especially to northern Michigan), spending time with her family, friends and pets, Coco, Ming and Chilly. Her church family lovingly referred to her as “Sweet Jane”. Her wonderful smile and personality was infectious and she brightened every room with her presence. Jane was dearly loved by everyone who knew her and will be truly, greatly missed by all.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Robin Stewart Ennis of Traverse City; nephew, Kyle Morrison of Mission Viejo, Calif. She is survived by her loving husband of 31 years, Randall Ball; her dear son, Brandon Ball, both of San Diego; parents, Earl & Beverly (Solem) Ennis III; brother, Earl “Skip” (Sharon) Ennis IV; sister, Joan (Donald) “Jake” Williams Jr. all of Traverse City and numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m., Saturday, April 26, at El Camino Memorial Park Sorrento Valley San Diego with Pastor Paul Tabb officiating. In lieu of flowers the family request that memorials in Jane’s name be made to Cavalry Chapel Mira Mesa, 10340 Camino Santa Fe Suite A, San Diego CA 92121 or the charity of their choice. A second memorial service will be held in Traverse City this summer.
