---- — CEDAR – David E. Winowiecki, 63, of Cedar, passed away Wednesday, March 27, 2013 at Munson Medical Center.
David was born Jan. 23, 1950 in Cedar the son of Dorothy Winowiecki and raised by his grandparents, Francis V. and Bertha (Boone) Winowiecki.
David attended Holy Rosary Elementary School and Glen Lake High School. After graduation he served his country in the U.S. Army and was stationed in Korea. There he met his future bride, Okja J. (Junog) Winowiecki. They returned to the states and were married at Holy Rosary Parish in 1971. He worked for many years at Burwood Products and the family farm.
David is survived by his wife, Okja; a twin brother, Jim; and six loving nieces and nephews.
The wake service will be held at 7:30 p.m. on Monday, April 1 at Holy Rosary Parish of Isadore. The mass will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, April 2 also at Holy Rosary. Burial in Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Isadore will be announced at a later date. Father Donald Libby will serve as celebrant.
Memorials may be directed to Mass Intentions or a charity of one’s choice.
