TRAVERSE CITY — Paul Mulcahy, 55, died peacefully Monday, July 22, after the Divine Mercy Chaplet was said for his intentions by his family at his bedside. Preceded in death by his parents, Jean and David Mulcahy, Paul was the eighth child of 13 children.
He was singularly devoted to Jesus Christ in the Blessed Sacrament and the teachings of the Holy Catholic Church. He began attending daily Mass as a child and continued through his entire life. Paul offered himself to God by doing His will through prayer, penance and preaching the Gospel to his family and all he met and through playing, composing and teaching piano.
Never wavering in his faith of Jesus’ Divine Mercy, please continue to pray for him as he is for you, the whole world and all the holy souls in purgatory.
Paul was preceded in death by his parents; grandparents; uncle, Jack Sculley; infant brother, David James; and beloved brother, Tom (Betsy).
He is survived by his siblings, Chris (Dorene), Mike (Teri), Joe, Mary (Bruce) Muzzarelli, Lucy (Bill) Repovz, his twin, Pete (Margherite), Theresa, David, Martha (Bira) Ahluwalia and Ann (Mike) Mawby; aunt, Mary Lou Sculley; cousins; and many nephews.
Paul will be greatly missed and called on as an advocate of Christ’s Divine Mercy for all of us.
