GLEN ARBOR — Julia A. Crowther, 78, of Glen Arbor, passed away Nov. 5, 2013.
She was the beloved mother of Stephen (Janet), Joseph (Terri), Jason and Christopher; proud grandmother of Kevin (Gina), Joshua (Erin) and Joseph Jr.; and great-grandmother of Genevieve and Cordelia.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Charles; and daughter, Elizabeth.
It was through a lifetime of helping others that made Julia such a very beautiful person loved by her family and the community alike.
She had an extensive educational background which included a bachelor’s and master’s degrees in public education, along with a Doctorate in Psychology.
She retired after 27 years in public education to open her own private practice specializing in various neurological disorders. Especially rewarding was Julia’s connection to the community of Glen Arbor and all the dear friends she made over the years.
Julia’s family will greatly miss her beautiful, calm and loving presence in their lives.
A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 16, at Glen Lake Community Reformed Church, 4902 W. MacFarlane Road, Glen Arbor, MI.
