---- — SOUTH BOARDMAN — Harold Lionel Prough, 84, of South Boardman, passed away on Oct. 13, 2013 at Munson Medical Center.
Mr. Prough was born on Aug. 12, 1929 in Kalkaska, to the late Charles and Jennie (Shepherd) Prough.
Harold had many joys, especially the outdoors. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, watching the birds, deer and turkeys, his John Deere tractors, time spent in Florida and reading.
Harold is survived by his partner in life of over 34 years Margery Bernholz; children Dale Prough, Martin (Sarah) Prough, Larry (Vicky) Prough, Floyd (Pat) Prough, Laura (Pete Hardy) Prough, and Kim (Liela) Prough; nine grandchildren; six great grandchildren; brother, Roy (Sandy) Prough; sister, Alma (Tom) Lodge, and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, sister Belle McCalip and one grandson.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m., on Saturday, Oct. 26, 2013, at the Legion Hall in South Boardman. Arrangements were entrusted to Kalkaska Funeral Home and Cremation Services.
