---- — WILLIAMSBURG — Roy W. Nagle Jr “Bill,” 87, of Williamsburg, passed away at Munson Medical Center on Oct. 16, 2013. He was born to Roy W. Nagle Sr. and Emily (Ervast) Nagle on Dec. 1, 1925 in Hancock, Mich.
Roy married the love of his life, Bernice Sotlich in 1948. He was a CB in the U.S. Navy during WWII. Roy received his mechanical engineering degree from Michigan Tech, and got a job working for Ford Motor Company. While working for Ford, Roy had the opportunity to live in Argentina for two years, and Germany for six months. After 40 years of dedicated work, Roy retired and moved to Williamsburg on Skegemog Lake, where he liked to spend time with his family and friends fishing.
In his free time, Roy enjoyed participating in a bowling league at Timber Lanes; he had an average score of 203. He also loved building model airplanes and cars.
Roy is survived by his wife of 65 years, Bernice; children Patricia (Phillip) Woods and Gary Nagle; daughter-in-law Janice Nagle; grandchildren Matthew and Gregory Nagle, and Justin Woods, and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, son Michael Nagle, and three siblings.
