NORTHPORT — Northport resident Ken Holch passed away at age 56 on Monday, Nov. 19, at Munson Medical Center.
Ken started out life as a kind and gentle soul with a willingness to treat anyone as a friend. He spent most of his working years as an amiable and trusted mechanic with a ready joke and a smile to lighten the mood.
He loved people, music, the art of stained glass and most of all, his pets. Ken was once so heartbroken by the death of his Sheltie mix, he needed help to remove the body because he could not bring himself to do it.
Ken's last years were difficult. Love, fond memories and prayers for peace and healing go with him now.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ralph Dudman Holch and Marion Esther Holch, of Northport.
I will miss you, little brother.
