BEULAH — Betty Jane Huntley, 87, of Beulah, died Friday, Feb. 15, 2013. She was born March 6, 1925, in Detroit, the daughter of William and Katherine (Campbell) Miller.
Betty enjoyed playing Bonco and Euchre, going bowling and watching old Westerns, especially “Bonanza.” She was also an avid Detroit Tigers fan.
Betty is survived by her children, Christina Anderson, of Sturgis, William (Lois) Huntley, of Beulah, Laurence (Paula) Huntley, of Bear Lake, David (Sherry) Huntley, of Montrose, Kevin (Kathie) Huntley, of Beulah, and Keith Huntley (her loving caregiver), of Beulah; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; her brother, Larry (Isobel) Miller, of Traverse City; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Betty was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Eugene Roland Huntley in 1995; her son, John Huntley in 1985; three brothers, Ted Miller, Derlin Miller and Blaine Miller; and her sister, Kathleen Harris.
Memorial services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday, March 9, 2013, at the Bennett-Barz Funeral Home, Beulah, with the Reverend Daniel E. Furman officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
