---- — MESICK — Noureen M. Soules, age 71, of Mesick and formerly of Traverse City, died Thursday, Feb. 28, 2013, at Munson Medical Center in Traverse City. She was born March 28, 1941, in Grand Rapids, the daughter of the late Don and Florence (Hoyt) Rector.
Noureen was a Registered Nurse and worked in health care facilities for the State of Michigan.
She married Clarence Soules on July 25, 2007, in Mesick.
She was a member of the Kaleva Baptist Church.
She enjoyed sewing, knitting, crocheting, camping, fishing, hunting and anything where she could be in the great outdoors.
She is survived by her husband, Clarence Soules, of Mesick; two daughters, Maishelle King and Janette (Dan) Davis, both of Traverse City; four grandchildren, Tray, Isaac, Roby and Allison; four brothers, Walt, Don, J.D. and Rex; and three sisters, Marge, Christy and Robin.
Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at 4 p.m. on Saturday, March 16, 2013, at the Kaleva Baptist Church, with Pastor David Taylor officiating. A meal and time of fellowship will follow the service.
