TRAVERSE CITY — Rebecca Jo “Becky” Williams Cucco, an eight-year resident of Traverse City, died peacefully on Dec. 4, 2013, surrounded by her loving family.
She will be remembered for her love of family, her passion for life and her kindness to many friends and strangers alike. Whenever you were around Becky you could always count on having fun.
She was born on April 6 to Sam and Mary Williams and was preceded in death by her parents; her sister, MaryLou Downen; her brother, Nick Williams; her first husband, Michael Hunter; and her second husband, Albert Cucco.
She was a graduate of Mansfield Senior High School and was employed by Westinghouse in Mansfield, Ohio.
An avid cook, she specialized in Serbian and Italian cooking, following in her mother’s footsteps.
She is survived by her son, Matthew Hunter, of Traverse City, and his wife, Tunie Fliss; her daughter, Samantha Cucco, of Springfield, Va.; and leaves to cherish her memory two precious grandsons, Rowan and Reed Luttrell. Also surviving are her sister, Sally Tena (Jess) of Idyllwild, Calif.; her sister, Jeanne Longstreth (Lee), of Indianapolis, Ind.; as well as many wonderful nieces and nephews.
A celebration of her life will be conducted at a later date.
