CONWAY — Diane Osborne, age 44, completed her Earth journey on Dec. 1, 2013, and went to be with her beloved Jesus, angels and all her ancestors. She was born March 22, 1969, in Petoskey. She resided in Northern California for 15 years and moved back to Conway three years ago.
Diane is survived by her faithful dog, Zorro; her parents, Dolly (Clous) and Don Osborne, of Conway; sister, Dawn Osborne, M.D., of Newton, Mass.; her soul mate, Hassan Nassar, of Luxor, Egypt; her brother by another mother, Larry Dickinson, of Longmont, Colo.; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and close friends from all over the United States and world.
Diane had the ability to develop close friendships, which she maintained throughout her life.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Douglas; maternal grandparents, Victor and Pauline Clous, of Kingsley; and paternal grandparents, Inez and Bernard Osborne, of Bay City.
Diane graduated from Petoskey High School and Kalamazoo College.
She became a nutritionist and was a Ph.D. candidate in Philosophy at Wisdom School of Graduate Studies, California.
She was the founder of Vibrant Traditions (vibrant traditions.com). Diane was a healing facilitator trained in many modalities, shamanism, nutrition, energy medicine, counseling, sustainability, permaculture, deep ecology, plant medicine, rites of passage, ceremony and facilitation.
Diane had a love and passion for nature and Mother Earth. She was a world traveler and visited many Third World countries. She had a great compassion for the people of these countries and single-handedly wanted to create world peace.
There will be a celebration of Diane’s life in the summer, with the date to be announced. It will be officiated by a dear friend, Deacon Wayne Carlton, from Ann Arbor.
