---- — SUTTONS BAY — Jeanine Anna Zeffero, age 80, of Suttons Bay, formerly of Fenton, died Sept. 26, 2013.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 2, at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 600 N. Adelaide St., Fenton. Burial will follow in St. John Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. today and Tuesday, Sept. 30 and Oct. 1, at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Rd., Fenton, with a Rosary at 7 p.m. Tuesday. Those desiring may make contributions to Food for the Poor or the Father Fred Foundation.
Jeanine was born April 30, 1933, in Rolette, N.D., the daughter of Hector and Eugenie (Mongeon) Malo. She was married to Robert J. Zeffero on Sept. 7, 1953.
Jeanine was many things, daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, GG and friend. She was love and laughter. She will be deeply missed and forever loved.
Surviving are her husband, Robert; children, Paula Crelley, Leeanne Zeffero, Corine Zeffero, Robert (Theresa) Zeffero, Amy (Rick) Corcoran, and Gregory (Amanda) Zeffero; 17 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and sister, Rita Boe.
She was preceded in death by her parents; seven brothers and sisters; and son-in-law, Floyd Crelley.
