TRAVERSE CITY — David Crosley, 47, a northern Michigan resident for many years and formerly of Pontiac, Mich., passed away on Wednesday March 19, 2014.
David was born on March 18, 1967 in Beckley, W.V., the son of Mary “Jean” and Adam “Chester” Crosley.
Dave will be remembered as an avid outdoorsman; often taking his children on camping and fishing adventures. He also loved to go rock hunting.
As many will recall, Dave could fill a room with his smile and his gregarious laughter. Dave’s quick wit and ability to connect with people allowed him to reach out to everyone he met.
David is survived by his wife Theresa Crosley; children, David Crosley (Caitlyn Laredo), Autumn Crosley, Winter Crosley and Kadin Crosley; sisters, Chris Desgranges and Jackie Crosley Casey; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Dave also leaves many close friends who will miss him very much. David was preceded in death by his parents and brother, William Cooke.
David’s family wishes to thank the many friends who have offered their condolences, wishes and support during this difficult time. A memorial gathering will take place from 1 to 4 p.m., Saturday March 29, 2014 at Sleder’s Tavern, 717 Randolph St. All are welcome to join us. Please come share your favorite “Dave” story.
