On May 27, 1989, Tom married the love of his life, Connie Smith, who survives him.
For the past 18 years Tom worked at The Traverse City Golf and Country Club creating tasty meals.
Tom enjoyed watching the Detroit Lions, primarily the first half, golfing, reading, movies and music.
