KEWADIN — Josephine Murial Russell passed away Saturday, Feb. 1, 2014, at her home. Josephine was born Feb. 17, 1912, in Milton Twp., to Nellie and Thomas Paradise.
On May 10, 1933, she married Claude R. Russell, of Kewadin, where they made their home and raised their family.
Josephine was a lifelong member of the Rebekah Lodge and the Eastern Stars.
Josephine enjoyed many hobbies.
Josephine was preceded in death by her husband, Claude; and two sons, Joey and Tom.
She is survived by her four children, Richard (JoAnne) Russell, Marylin (Charles) Thomas, Billie (Sherry) Russell, all of Kewadin, and Beverly (Gene) Gorecki, of Sterling Heights; 11 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and 11 great-great-grandchildren.

Burial will take place at Maple Grove Cemetery in the spring, when a memorial service will also be held. The arrangements will be announced in the spring.
Memorial contributions in Josephine’s name may be directed to Meadow Brook Nursing Home or Munson Hospice.
