BALDWIN — Carlee Thomson, 55, of Baldwin, passed away Monday, Dec. 23, 2013, at Reed City Spectrum Hospital. Carlee was born in Bakersfield, Calif., March 31, 1958, to Charles and Joan (Fleckenstein) Mizer.
Carlee was a resident of Baldwin for over 10 years, coming from Omena.
Carlee had a paralegal degree from Northern Michigan College and was a DJ for many years at the college radio station.
She loved music and dedicated her life caring for others, taking care of her aunt, Jackie, until her passing and continued caring for her mother, Joan Mizer.
Carlee is survived by her sons, Jackson (Alissa) Thomson and Gavon (Wendy) Thomson, both from Virginia; grandchildren, Lachlan Thomson and Arianna Thomson; her mother, Joan Mizer, of Baldwin; and brother, Clay Mizer, of Wyoming.
Services for Carlee will be Friday at 11 a.m., with visitation from 10 a.m., at Verdun Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Baldwin; (231) 745-4680.
