---- — TRAVERSE CITY — Ethel Wilomena Ehrenberger, 94, a Traverse City native, died Sunday evening, May 12, 2013, at Bortz Health Care of Traverse City.
Born March 2, 1919, in Solon Township, she was the daughter of the late Francis L. and Anna (Ansorge) Allgaier.
Ethel was a long time member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. She will be fondly remember for her devotion to family.
Ethel is survived by her caring son, Robert “Bob” Ehrenberger; sister, Mary J. Allgaier; brother, Elmer Allgaier all of Traverse City, along with many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph M. Ehrenberger and her siblings, Dorothy Shimel, Hilda Allgaier, Margaret Sleder and Clarence Allgaier.
A Mass will be offered at 11 a.m., Friday, May 17, at Immaculate Conception Church, with visitation one hour prior to the service. Rev. Anthony Citro will preside.
The Ehrenberger family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff of Bortz Health Care of Traverse for the wonderful care given to Ethel.
In remembrance of Ethel, memorial contributions may be directed to the Food Pantry at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church or to Hospice of Michigan. Envelopes may be obtained at the church.
