William Earl Beechraft

HONOR — William Earl Beechraft, 77, of Honor, died Friday, May 10, 2013, at his home. He was born Jan. 11, 1936, in Honor, the son of George and Ruby (Peck) Beechraft.

William worked as a mechanic, retiring due to illness in 2012 from Ron Brown and Sons, where he was employed for many years. He was known to be able to fix or build anything, and wasn’t afraid to give you his opinion whether you wanted it or not.

He loved children, deer hunting, mushroom hunting and going two-tracking. He liked to raise a little Cain and earned the nickname “Wild Bill” because of it.

William is survived by his son, Theodore J. Beechraft, of Honor; and several brothers and sisters.

William was devoted to his wife, Patricia Ann, and was by her side every day after she suffered a stroke in 1994. Patricia preceded him in death in 1997.

Cremation has taken place. No services will be held at this time.

Memorial contributions may be made to the family.

The Bennett-Barz Funeral Home in Beulah is in charge of arrangements;
