Jeremy Stephen Jelinek

----

TRAVERSE CITY — Jeremy S. Jelinek, 27, of Suttons Bay, died Monday evening, Oct. 15, 2012, from injuries sustained in a traffic accident. Born Oct. 14, 1985, in Bad Axe, he was the son of Richard Earl and Joy Elizabeth (Froehlick) Jelinek.

Jeremy attended and graduated from Suttons Bay High School with the Class of 2006. He also was enrolled at TBA, where he excelled at welding and was recognized for his abilities at state competition.

On Oct. 21, 2006, in Suttons Bay, he married his high school sweetheart, Mandy Britton.

He was an avid outdoors man who enjoyed hunting, fishing and camping.

Jeremy also liked riding anything that went fast, whether it was his quad, Harley or his snowmobile. He possessed a great passion for "Big Blue" (his semi).

He was a very successful and well respected third-generation beekeeper.

His bees were used by many fruit farmers throughout the state for pollination. Jeremy treated every single bee as his baby. He was always experimenting new methods to make his bees more productive.

Above all, Jeremy was truly a loving, devoted family man who held his family close to his heart. His family meant the world to him. He always had a sparkle in his eyes for his wife and babies.

Jeremy will be fondly remembered as a true friend and a caring people-person. He was always reaching out to others with a helping hand.
