ROSEBUSH — Scott Beltinck, 48, of Rosebush, passed away Tuesday, March 12, 2013, with his family by his side.
Scott was born Sept. 16, 1964, in Mt. Pleasant, son of William T. and Wenonah B. (Block) Beltinck.
He graduated from Mt. Pleasant High School in 1982 and graduated from ITT Technical Institute in Grand Rapids, where he studied electrical engineering technology.
He married Susan Burden Feb. 14, 1990, in Clare.
Scott is survived by his wife, Susan; six children, Matthew Burden, of Mt. Pleasant and Nicole, Brooklyn, Luke, Jesse and Moriyah Beltinck, all of Rosebush; a granddaughter, Madison Halfmann; his parents, William and Wenonah Beltinck, of Mt. Pleasant; two sisters, Victoria (Kevin) Rogers, of Clare, and Denise (Ronney) Morey, of Mt. Pleasant; brother-in-law, Thomas Sheredy, of Clare; sister-in-law, Lizabeth Beltinck, of Mt. Pleasant; father-in-law, Harry Burden, of Mt. Pleasant; nieces and nephews, Alissa (Mark) Haynak and Andrea (Dave) Porter, Elizabeth (Bruce) TerHaar and Steven (Johnara) Carpenter, Stephanie Prout and Benjamin Beltinck, and Max (Michelle) Morey and Jennifer (Jason) Morey-Germain; and 13 great-nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Fae Sheredy in 1989; and his brother, John Beltinck in 2002.
His funeral will be held at 2 p.m. today, March 15, at Lux Family Funeral Home, with Hector Castillo of Shalom Assembly of Yahweh officiating. Burial will be in Woodland Cemetery in Rosebush. The family will receive friends at the funeral home today two hours prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Beltinck Family Discretionary Trust. Envelopes are available at the funeral home.
