Delmar Leroy Richard

EMPIRE -- Delmar Leroy Richard, 73, of Empire, died Sunday, Nov., 1, 2009 at Tendercare Birchwood Nursing Home.

Delmar was born March 10, 1936, in Traverse City, the son of Thomas and Marion (Hayward) Richard. He served in the United States Air Force from 1955-63. He always had a great joke to share with people he met and loved to hunt and fish.

Delmar is survived by his children, Shirley Boyer, David Richard, Joseph Richard, Dennis Richard, and Michael Gastin; and sister, June Counsilor.

There are no services planned at this time.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Covell Funeral Home in Traverse City.
