TRAVERSE CITY — Traverse City scored first, but Michigan came back to net the last goal in a 2-1 win over the North Stars.

Alexander Taulien put TC up 1-0 with a goal set up by Jake Peacock and Michal Toman.

The Warriors responded with second-period goals by Matus Matis and Zac Thompson to take the lead in a game that Traverse City held a commanding 41-21 advantage in shots on goal and there were only three penalties called.

Kyle Laslo took his first regulation loss of the season, making 19 saves.

The Stars had handed Michigan its first loss of the season Saturday in a 4-1 decision.

Eric Rivard scored two goals and Kyle Loridon and Mitchell Snider added the others. Laslo only had to make 11 saves as TC (5-1-1) badly outshot the first-place Warriors (7-1-1) again, this time 32-12.

Defenseman Zack Dorer -- who rejoined the team Saturday -- was +2 in two contests.
