North Stars come up short in OT

KALAMAZOO — They'll finish the regular season with a split.

Kalamazoo beat Traverse City 4-3 in overtime on Sunday to finish their season series with six wins each.

The North Stars overcame a 3-1 deficit with goals from Michal Toman and Eric Rivard in the final 90 seconds to force overtime. There, Kalamazoo's Chris Leone netted the winner unassisted.

Chris Leibinger also scored for TC while Sean Murphy and Nathan Harris had an assist. Kyle Laslo made 32 saves.
