North Stars hammer Falcons

PORT HURON — Traverse City picked up its fourth straight win on Wednesday with a 6-2 victory over North Division-leading Port Huron.

The North Stars trailed 1-0 in the first period, but scored six straight goals to put the game away.

Will Badner had two goals and an assist for Traverse City, Kyle Schempp had a goal and an assist while Michal Toman had two assists.

Other goal scorers for TC included Zack Dorer, Alexander Taulien and Sean Murphy.

Kyle Laslo made 37 saves to get the win.

Traverse City will host Port Huron on Friday.
