North Stars drop decision

WYANDOTTE -- The Traverse City North Stars offensive woes continued Saturday night as they dropped a 2-1 North American Hockey League game to Motor City.

John Trevor scored the game-winner for Motor City 4:55 into the third period -- less than a minute after Traverse City's Dan Radke tied the game.

Motor City's Andrew Tate tallied in the first period.

The Machine outshot the North Stars 28-17. C.J. Motte finished with 26 saves for Traverse City.

Mike Schenfeld and David Johnstone assisted on the Radke goal.
