February 02, 2009 12:00 am TRAVERSE CITY -- The North Stars' lead didn't last long, but fortunately, it was at the end of the game. Traverse City's Marc Thompson notched his fourth game-winner of the season with 1:24 remaining to give TC a 2-1 win over Motor City on Saturday night. Motor City led most of the game after a Nick Taurence goal 12:38 into the first period. Kyle Bonis knotted the game with 5:04 remaining off Urbaniak and Thompson assists. Brandon Stephenson earned the win in net, stopping 21 of 22 shots he faced.
