Traverse City Record-Eagle
— What will Cousins do?
I guess I am confused as to why Traverse City Area Public Schools hired Mr. Scott. If I am reading his job description correctly, what is left for Superintendent Cousins to do?
The strangest dream
I just had the strangest dream in which by brother George had just gotten a brand-new red pickup, made in the USA. He came over last week, and was proudly displaying two new assault rifles in his back window. Who knows when an abortion rights doctor may show up here in Traverse City and try to take his parking spot in the handicap section of our big-box store.
Anyhow, George was coming to a cookout. As he drove into my compound, I waved my newly purchased 30-shot rifle in the air with my left hand as I flipped burgers with my right. We had never gotten along since I voted for that black guy twice. Perhaps this gesture of National Rifle Association support will make him like me better.
My brother and I shared a six-pack of soda, made by the Coke Brothers, who are someplace smiling down at us from 1-percent heaven knowing they don’t have to pay expensive shipping to have their goods delivered here from a third-world country. There will soon be plenty of empty houses available in the USA when we kill each other off.
God love America!
