A $1,000 senior scholarship is for students planning to continue their education at an accredited college or institution with a major in fine arts. To the Grand Traverse Conservation District which will host an egg hunt March 30 at Kids Creek Park. Kids up to 13 and their parents will try to find five colored eggs that correspond to Michigan creatures that really lay eggs. To Eastfield Laundry for providing free laundry service for blankets used by Safe Harbor guests at participating churches. Safe Harbor is a program where the homeless can spend the night indoors and get a hot meal. There are often more than 100 blankets on a bi-weekly basis. This is the second consecutive season the laundry has provided the service.
