Update on 07/08/2013 historical photo

Historical photo information, provided by readers, for the July 8 image:

• Joan Buday of Charlevoix wrote:

I was surprised to see myself in the Look Familiar photo. Everyone in the picture worked at Metropolitan Life Insurance in the Traverse City State Bank building. The company was doing a photo story for the insurance magazine during the Cherry Festival. At that time the festival “cops” arrested and placed in stockades people on the street. I don’t know the name of the cops but Mr. Steffes was the gentleman who was the office manager, on the right Mary Ellen Wellcome, Helen Cluff, and myself Joan Kroetsch Buday.

I don’t remember the year but 1953 or ‘54.
